On Apr 7,2017, A Great Bustard (ID 2049) was 
rescued and named “Small Xilin”.It was nursed to back health quickly after by the police and vet’s good care. The workers of National Bird Tagging Center Of Chinese Academy Of Forestry installed a bird tracker on the back of Small Xilin at the beginning of May 2017,then they set it free to the great beautiful Xilin prairie.The Small Xilin’s goal was go to Chagannor Wetland,after a few days of rest ,it slowly flew to north. In order to live, the Small Xilin had to fly to north , stop and go,unwilling to leave.From the map ,it displayed on the border ,the flight speed is 66.302kmh at 4:47:48 on May 20,Small Xilin was about to leave China, after two days of disappearing,it had appeared in Naran. The last time data display it appeared at 10:57:10 on May 22, and then disappeared. We never received any returned data since then .Waiting day by day, month by month,all of us were worried about Small Xilin and looked forward to hearing from it, praying and blessing it to be safe.
Waiting month by month,finally we received the report Small Xilin arrived in XilinGol League,Neimenggu,China. Great Bustard---the king returned.
At moment we busy received the position information that has not been sent successfully . The data recorded its life during disappeared every day .The goal of Great Bustard is very clear.It went 50 kilometers to the north every day. It lived and bred on the borders of Russia and Mongolia. Data recorded the daily trajectory of Great Bstard,without omitting a day.Great Bustard went south all the way until to Zhangjiakou, suddenly it turned back on November 21 ,and went to Ximeng at the present.Great Bstard did not forget Ximeng where he was rescued ,he was grateful to be there ,and he felt at peace here.Looking forward to starting again of the Great Bstard. Bless it’s safe and healthy, let us pray together for the king.
